What are the main characteristics of tapered roller bearings?

It is a separable bearing, with tapered raceways on the inner and outer rings of the bearing, and the rollers are truncated cone-shaped. The rollers and raceways are in linear contact, and can withstand heavier combined radial and axial loads, as well as axial loads. The larger the contact angle, the higher the axial load capacity; conversely, the smaller the contact angle, the lower the axial load capacity.

The design of the tapered roller should extend the contact line between the roller and the inner and outer raceways and intersect at the same point on the bearing axis to achieve rolling.

Tapered roller bearings can be divided into single-row, double-row and four-row tapered roller bearings according to the number of rows of rollers installed. This type of bearing also uses the British series products.

The newly designed tapered roller bearing adopts a reinforced structure, with a longer roller diameter, a longer roller length, and a larger number of rollers. The use of convex rollers significantly improves the bearing's load capacity and service life. The spherical and conical contact between the large end face of the roller and the large rib improves lubrication.
