What is the disassembly and usage environment of tapered roller bearings?

Dismantling of bearings:

When the bearing is removed and intended for continued use, appropriate disassembly tools should be selected. When disassembling the inner ring with interference fit, only tension can be applied to the ring, and it is not allowed to transmit disassembly force through the rolling element (outer ring), otherwise both the rolling element and the raceway will be crushed.

The operating environment of bearings:

Selecting specifications, dimensions, and accuracy based on the usage location, usage conditions, and environmental conditions, and matching with suitable bearings, is a prerequisite for ensuring bearing life and reliability.

1. Application: Conical roller bearings are suitable for bearing combined radial and axial loads, mainly radial loads. They are usually paired with two sets of bearings and are mainly used in transmission parts such as front and rear wheel hubs, active bevel gears, differentials, and reducers of automobiles.

2. Allowable speed: In a properly installed and well lubricated environment, it is allowed to be 0.3-0.5 times the maximum speed of the bearing. Under normal circumstances, the optimal speed is 0.2 times the maximum speed.

3. Allowable tilt angle: Conical roller bearings generally do not allow the shaft to tilt relative to the housing hole. If there is a tilt, the maximum should not exceed 2 degrees.

4. Allowable temperature: Under normal load, with high temperature resistance and sufficient lubrication, bearings are generally allowed to operate at ambient temperatures ranging from -30 ℃ to 150 ℃.
