Disassembly method and precautions of spherical roller bearings!

Disassembly method:

1. Spherical roller bearing pushing method

Use a press to push the bearing, which works smoothly and reliably without operating the machine and the bearing shielding room. The press can be manual, mechanical or hydraulic.

2. Spherical roller bearing knocking method

The knocking force is generally applied to the inner ring of the bearing. The knocking force should not be applied to the rolling element and cage of the bearing. This method is simple and easy, but it can easily damage the bearing. When the bearing is at the end of the shaft, use a copper rod or other soft metal material smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing to support the shaft end, add a pad to the lower part of the shaft, and remove it with a hammer.

3. Pulling method for spherical roller bearings

Use a special puller. When disassembling, just rotate the handle and the bearing will be slowly pulled out. When disassembling the outer ring of the bearing, the two bends of the puller should be opened outwards. When disassembling the inner ring of the bearing, the two legs of the puller should be inwards and stuck on the end surface of the inner ring of the bearing.

Disassembly precautions:

1. First, the puller should be installed on the bearing to be disassembled and a certain pulling force should be applied.

2. Before heating, the shaft should be wrapped with asbestos rope or thin iron plate to prevent the shaft from expanding due to heat, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When disassembling the bearing from the bearing housing hole, only the bearing housing hole can be heated, not the bearing.

3. When pouring oil, the shielded room should pour the oil pot steadily on the bearing ring or rolling element, and place an oil pan below it to collect the hot oil flowing down to avoid waste and burns.

4. The operator should wear asbestos gloves to prevent burns.
