The spherical roller bearings with CA structure are characterized by precision-machined brass cages and reinforced symmetrical rolling elements, which are generally compatible with CC structure designs. Compared with CC structure, CA structure products use high tensile strength brass cages, which have certain self-lubricating properties and allow certain plastic deformation. In situations where noise requirements are high, the CA structure design is better than the CC structure design.
Due to the limited outer dimensions of the bearing, the cage of the CA structure occupies more internal space, which limits the outer dimensions and number of the rolling elements to a certain extent, thereby reducing the possibility of further improving the radial load capacity of the bearing.
