What are the basic installation requirements for four-row tapered roller bearings?

Basic requirements for installation:

Specially trained installers should check the morphological tolerances of the bearing mating surfaces, keep the installation site clean, and open the bearing package after installation preparation is completed. Do not clean the anti-rust oil from the bearing.

1.Configuration of bearing components. Open the bearing package, do not wash off the anti-rust oil, check the bearing assembly to ensure that the bearing assembly is complete, the year of production is consistent, and the production serial number and installation sequence are indicated by letters. The bearing mating surface is marked with 4 load-bearing areas using I to IV at 90° intervals, and the load-bearing areas are marked on the outer diameter of the outer ring with axial etching lines.

2.The mating surface of the bearing. In order to prevent friction and corrosion of the mating surface of the roller neck and the bearing seat, it must be coated with a thin layer of installation paste, use bolts to fix the end cover at the roll body end to the bearing seat, and place the bearing seat opening upward on the flat support .

3.Open bearings. First, with the E end facing down, lift the outer ring D-E and the outer spacer D and place them into the bearing seat. Then lift up the components in the given order and place them into the bearing seat. Pay attention to aligning the load-bearing area. The parts installed at the rear must be in full contact with the parts in front and cannot be tilted or skewed.

4.Installation of open bearings with stamped cages. For bearings with stamped cages, place the inner ring E-Ce flat on the support (E end facing down), then place the components one by one in the correct order, and use the lifting device to install the complete bearing assembly into the bearing seat to ensure load-bearing Area I is correctly aligned. For through-pin cage bearings, install the inner ring E-Ce (E end facing down), inner spacer ring C (locating rib downward), double-row outer ring B-D and outer spacer B into the bearing seat. For cage bearings, install the inner ring A-Ca and the single-row outer ring A-B into the bearing seat, ensuring that the load-bearing area I is correctly aligned. The pinned cage bearing can be installed using a lifting device like a stamped cage bearing.

5.Installation of sealed bearings. Sealed tapered roller bearings are installed with the help of a special lifting device. Completely assemble the bearing assembly on the lifting device in the order given. First install the sealing ring E. When installing a grease lubricated bearing, the roller and cage combination must be manually lubricated. Ensure that load-bearing area I is correctly aligned and install the assembled complete bearing into the bearing seat.

6.Rotary bearings. Gently install the second end cap on the bearing seat with 4 bolts at a symmetrical position on the circumference (do not tighten the bolts), rotate the bearing seat to a horizontal position, fix the clamp on the end face of the inner ring with a tie rod, and start Be gentle when tightening, and the clamp can only contact the end face of the inner ring. For sealed bearings, the lifting device also serves as a clamp. Gradually tighten the tie rod and end cover bolts, and slowly and evenly rotate the inner ring until the inner ring completely fits the inner spacer ring C without any gaps. Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap S between the end cover and the bearing housing to determine the seal thickness B. Rigid seal B=S-(0.05~0.1)mm; elastic seal B=1.2Smm.

7.Install seal. Unscrew the end cover bolts and remove the end cover, insert the seal with the required thickness into the end cover, apply grease to the inner ring hole, and complete the installation.

8.Heat the labyrinth sealing ring in the oil bath, and push the labyrinth sealing ring together with the O-ring onto the roll neck. During the cooling process of the labyrinth sealing ring, it must be pressed tightly against the end face of the roll. .

9.Push the assembled bearing seat onto the roll neck, regularly check the effectiveness of the bearing seat seal and the bearing temperature. After the bearing has worked for 1000 to 1200 hours, change the load-bearing area of the bearing. Record all bearing maintenance and inspection work on the rolling bearing inspection card. Change the load-bearing area of the bearing, disassemble the bearing in the reverse order of installation, carefully clean the bearing parts, and immediately apply oil, visually inspect the raceways and rollers for damage, check the axial clearance, pack the bearing with new grease, follow the installation instructions Install the bearings and move to the next load-bearing area.
